Annabel's work is very cinematic, romantic and somehow haunting. She works mainly as a portrait photographer, lives in NY, loves nature. She's taken some of the most beautiful pictures I've seen in a while. I think I'm obsessed already...

NAILS, NAILS, NAILS
No longer the domain of footballer's wives and 50 Cent videos, fake nails were everywhere on the London catwalks this season. Some of the best included 80s-inspired patterned ones (House of Holland) and Ann-Sofie Back's pale pink extensions, which almost looked like animal claws!

FOUND
I don't know who took this picture of Hanne Gaby, but I'm already jealous. Moments like this are rare.

BOYS, BOYS, BOYS
Vivian Volta is one of the pretty boys I shot for the street section of the upcoming Nylon Japan. More to come!

MORE REASONS TO LOVE PARIS
Its delicious cakes. Eclairs, macaroons, you name it. Preferably with Krystof and preferably in a typically French patisserie. Also, my beautiful friend Lucia, who after seven years in London, has just moved back to France.

LIKE A CANDY BOX
Bodycon shapes, organic prints and plenty of XXL wooden jewellery. Here's one London collection that I believe almost every girl (myself included) would like to wear. Courtesy of Krystof Strozyna again.

A FEW THINGS THAT HAPPENED AT GIAMBATTISTA VALLI
Thanks to my wonderful friend Jack Isenberg, who works as a designer at Valli, I was lucky enough to see both the show and steal a few behind-the-scenes moments. Here are a few of my highlights of this beautiful show.
I don't know who that girl is, but she slightly reminds me of Monica Vitti in old Antonioni films...
Polish star Jac Jagaciak backstage and at the show...
Feverish atmosphere among the front of house photographers. At some point, they were even shouting nasty names to the girls! Really glad I don't have to take pictures there...
And the show's beautiful finale...

MEET MY FAVOURITE BLOGGER
William Gentle takes pretty fantastic portraits of city outsiders. The fact that they're so personal, and that every set is accompanied by an honest Q & A with each person, makes them really stand out in the ever-growing sea of "style" blogs.

FURRY CREATURES AT TOPSHOP UNIQUE
"Where The Wild Things Are" was surely the inspiration behind Topshop Unique's latest offering, with clever styling tricks by Katie Grand.

NO HOLDS BARRED
I got a bit overexcited at A Child of the Jago show, where models started smoking backstage. The label is the brainchild of Joe Corre - the son of Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren and founder of Agent Provocateur - which probably goes to explain the amount of freedom and creativity that happened at the show.

A SONG FOR TODAY
I listened to Interpol when I was 22, I'm still listening to it today. I guess people don't change much, do they?

FISH TANK
I watched "Fish Tank" last night. It's a story about a teenage girl living in a council flat in Britain and her incestous relationship with her mom's boyfriend. The plot might sound a bit morbid, but the cinematography is absolutely beautiful.
