BEING BACK

I'm back from my holidays - three wonderful weeks of doing nothing but seeing friends, watching nature and reading. Can't remember the last time I felt this rested.

FALL IS MY FAVOURITE TIME OF THE YEAR

All around the world, Halloween is the time of festivities. In Poland on the other hand, the 1st of November is the day of "contemplation". It's the day when you to the graveyards with your family to burn candles and place flowers on the graves of those who passed away. They look very beautiful sometimes.

GINGER

My family's cat in Warsaw. So sophisticated that in the winter he sleeps in my wardrobe, and in the summer time, he likes to chill on the sunbed.

IN WARSAW YESTERDAY

It's not so much the candles and the millions of flowers anymore, but more the emotions of people, who gathered (sometimes waiting for 11 hours at a time) to pay tribute at the president's palace. It's really touching to see people so united at this time.

Probably the only place with such tragic, unbelievable history and yet the only place, where people can so wonderfully unite in pain... I've never missed it as much as I do now :(

HAPPY CHRISTMAS

I'm back in Warsaw for Christmas, so had a chance to rummage through some of my old negatives. Most of those were taken in 2005-2006, somewhere between London, Warsaw and Paris. The last one is my little brother by the way.
